What a busy term we have had in Kindergarten. During the term, we have learnt all about Farms and Minibeasts. We were very lucky to have a visit from ‘Barn Babes’ and had an amazing time cuddling, brushing and feeding the baby farm animals.
We would like to say a very big thank you to all of the dads who were able to attend our annual St Anthony’s Father’s Night last Tuesday. The children and dads had a fantastic time completing activities, eating hot dogs and attending the Book Fair in the library.
Last week we had fun making symmetrical butterflies and cute caterpillars. We have also learnt all about the life cycle of the butterfly.
In Maths we have been using balance scales to investigate things that are ‘heavier and lighter’. We have also been learning about the concept of ‘more and less’ when looking at small collections of objects.
Yesterday we had an amazing time participating in the P&F Fun Run Obstacle Course. A special thank you to the parents who came along to cheer us on !
