Pre Primary has had a smooth start to the school year with the students transitioning well with the five day week.
As part of our family theme - which integrates our History and Religious Education programs - the children are learning about many different cultures. Some of their learning experiences have included: looking at national costumes, Aboriginal dot painting, Croatian embroidery, Indian elephant collage and drawing and writing about what families like to do together. Cooking has also been a popular cultural activity with Italian icecream being a firm favourite!
The students are also participating in playful learning experiences during their literacy and numeracy rotations and are beginning to work with a partner for problem solving activities.
Well done Pre Primaries on a great start to full time schooling!
