Next week is a special week, our school will celebrate St Mary MacKillop of the Cross with a Mass.  To prepare for Mass, Year 3 have been learning about St Mary MacKillop of the Cross.  We have researched information about her and have learnt about her life, including her famous saying, ‘Never see a need without doing something about it’.  This is what we think the saying means:

“If you see someone that needs something, help them”
By Levi Simon

“If you see someone that needs a home, help them find shelter”
By Amy Reindl

“Donate money to people who need money”
By Hudson Dimond

“If there is someone in a fight, help them stop”
By Ben Callus

“Play with people that are lonely or need friends”
By Nate Cooper
