On Monday, eight Year 6 students participated in the City of Wanneroo Think Tank excursion. They joined representatives from a number of primary schools from the City of Wanneroo in imagining what Wanneroo could be like by 2050. Mayor Tracey Roberts spoke to the students about how she became interested in local government and challenged them to find ways to get involved in their community. The students prepared a slide show presentation about their vision for the future of Wanneroo and came up with some very interesting ideas. Well done to Keira Arneill, Sophie Clancy, Timothy Datta, Annmary George, Benjamin Mirshahi, Koby Ratajczak, Lachlan Swyny and Anya Vincent on their successful applications to go on this excursion.
